HOW HAS 9-MINUTE SINTERING BECOME POSSIBLE?

Kuraray Noritake Dental Inc. has developed new zirconia powder that can reach a highly activated state with little energy. It accelerates the sintering process, thereby achieving an ultra short sintering time of 9 minutes.

The multi-layered KATANA™ Zirconia Block consists of four layers of zirconia in gradated shades. This product allows the chair side fabrication of natural-tooth-colored restorations – eliminating additional sintering time.
